Angel Moore, the owner of Angel & Co., is a true advocate for entrepreneurship for young people. Miss Moore started her first business in 2009 at eight years of age, just to raise enough money for tennis camp. The passion was sparked; in 2012 she expanded her business, and in 2013 she started her professional speaking career.
Angel & Co. is the corporate umbrella for Cookn’ Cookies by Angel, Angel’s Heavenly Scents, and “I AM” Inspirational Shirts and Accessories. Miss Moore is also an independent designer for Origami Owl custom jewelry.
Angel has actively maintained her work-life balance as a black belt in karate at Good Champs Karate Academy; as the 2014 and 2015 president of Zeta Phi Beta Inc. Tau Psi Zeta Youth Auxiliary Amicette Group; as an eighth-grade honors graduate of Edward Coles Language Academy; and as a 2012 and 2013 member of the Chicago Bulls Junior Luvabulls program.
Angel’s awards include 2010 PKC International Grand Champion, 2010 first place Professional Karate Commission Region 1 champion, 2010 second place in the ARISE Teen Entrepreneur competition, 2013 Spirit of Detroit grand champion, 2013 Aspiration of Life Be Loyal to Your Dreams honoree, 2014 Leading Lady International Little Leading Lady honoree, and 2014 She’s All That honoree, to name a few.
As an inspirational speaker and youth entrepreneur, Angel has been featured at various events in addition to appearing on radio and television, including the following: Priscilla Williams’s “Women Walking in Power” Women’s Conference, Youth Summit at Harold Washington Cultural Center, Edward Coles Teacher Appreciation Luncheon, Angel & Co. “Raising The Boss” workshops, the 2014 Urban League of Northwest Indiana Eighteenth Annual Scholastic Awards Luncheon, WGN TV People to People with Micah Materra, the AC Green Radio Show, and the Priscilla Williams Radio Show.
Angel is a native of Chicago, hailing from the Roseland Community, and she now resides in Frisco, Texas. Angel lives with her parents, Apryl Moore-Beasley and Roy Beasley, and her younger brother, Shaun Beasley.
